Erin Leighty, San Jaun Hotshots Durango, Colorado Gunbarrel Fire Aug 20, 2008   The Chukel's posted: Fri 10 Oct 2008 Hope to return Thank you for hosting such a wonderful trip at the Crossed Sabres Ranch.  The cabins were great and the lodge was so welcoming.  The two of you were extremely helpful and accomodating.  The food was delicious.  The kids highlights were most definately the barn, horses and the rides.  It was a first for Lauren who is a horse lover!  As a family, the game room and tv room were helpful as was after long days in the car.  Tim enjoyed a few ventures up the trails on foot.  A definate vavorite for him.  I enjoyed everything as well.  We hope to return some time. Tim, Stephanie, Kevin, Karyn, Lauren, Darren   Jacob Van der Goot posted: Fri 10 Oct 2008 Thank you again From Rotterdam in Holland we came via Chicago to Crossed Sabres.  Some of us were a little concerned because they thought our family wasn't "horsey" enough!  What a wonderful welcome to arrive here and to immediately dig into a real ranch dinner.  The air, the park, everything was big. But most especially your hospitality.  We all enjoyed our "promendae a' Cheval" with Ray ( and Emmy Lou, Beau, Stonewall, Thunder and Morgan)  But most special for us will be the large trout we caught ( Crossed Sabres rods are lucky) Which was specially prepared for us.  Good luck with the ranch and thank you all again.
