Sunday

Your vacation of a lifetime begins at 3:00 p.m. with check-in and a personal tour of the lodge and ranch amenities. At 5:30, come up to the lodge to meet other guests, hear a welcome talk from Kenny, and enjoy some tasty appetizers. Your first hearty meal of the week will be served at 6:30 with roping lessons and yard games played on the lodge lawn to follow.

Monday 

Monday’s activities begin at 9:00 a.m. down at the Holm Corral with a mandatory rider orientation followed by a morning ride. Following lunch, there is a short, optional photography clinic held up in the main lodge for anyone who brought a personal camera and is looking for any tips and tricks to capture those perfect moments throughout the week. Afternoon activities kick-off around 2:00 p.m. with options to ride, fish, or hike. Come on down to the pavillion at 6:00 for appetizers followed by a BBQ where a cowboy singer will entertain you after dinner!

Tuesday 

 At 9:00 a.m., ranch vans will depart for a tour of Yellowstone’s lower loop. Stops will be made at all the famous landmarks including a picnic lunch at Old Faithful, the Grand Prismatic Hot Springs, and more. The trip gets back around 6:00 p.m., just in time for dinner. Alternatively, you can choose to spend the  day hiking, fishing, or riding. Regardless of your choice, be sure to save some energy for the Tuesday night square dance. Professional callers come out to the ranch to teach you how to do-si-do, allemande left, and have a great time dancing! 

Wednesday

The morning begins with riding, hiking, or fishing at 9:00 a.m. At 1:45 p.m., vans will take all who are interested into Cody for a trip down the Shoshone River in white-water rafts. Nervous? Not to worry. It’s a family event suitable for all ages. Alternatively, hiking, fishing, and riding are available at 2:00 for the afternoon. Come over to the fire pit by the arena at 6:30 for some appetizers followed by a healthy serving of margaritas (lemonade and water for the little cow-pokes!) and fajitas. Roping and games of horseshoes will also be available, in addition to live music by a local western duo. 

Thursday 

After giving your body a nice break, Thursday morning is a great chance to get back to riding, hiking, or fishing at 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Thursday also offers the chance for a trip down to our property in Wapiti for an afternoon of shooting clays for adults who are interested. Any youngsters interested in trying their aim can do so as well at the BB-gun/archery range here on the ranch property. Come get your fill of dinner a little earlier than usual at 6:00. Vans will load at 6:40 to take you into town to catch the action at the Cody Nite Rodeo. Keep your eyes to the sky when you get back to the ranch. The stars are usually on full display!

Friday 

Friday is your chance to get in that last favorite ride or catch that 15 inch cutthroat; activities set out at the usual times of 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Friday evening is the time to celebrate the fantastic week you have had with a cocktail party starting at 5:45 p.m. in the saloon. Drinks are on Kenny and Laura until dinner! Feel free to wear your best western attire for a sit-down steak dinner at 6:30 followed by a scavenger hunt for youngins’ around 7:30 and, of course, more celebrating with your new friends and CSR family. 

Saturday

 Come up to the lodge for one last ranch breakfast at 8:00 a.m. to top you off for your travels home. Checkout is 11:00 a.m. In the meantime, feel free to say goodbye to your trusty mounts, get in a last game of cornhole, or sit on the porch and appreciate the beautiful view.
